De 100 Million Views Club heeft een lijst samengesteld met daarop de meest bekeken online videos tot 15 augustus. Twilight: New Moon trailer is binnen twee maanden op de 12de plek beland van deze toplijst. Een andere nieuwe binnenkomer is Susan Boyle met 261 miljoen views in twee weken. De top 3 wordt door muziekvideos ingenomen met op de eerste plaats Soulja Boy met Crank Dat ( voor mij een wonder dat die zo hoog staat) gevolgd door Beyonce: Single Ladies en Micheal Jackson. Waarschijnlijk gaat Micheal Jacksons Thriller binnen een korte tijd de eerste plaats bereiken.
Noteworthy Club Notes:
- Thriller’s recent performance has bumped both the original Twilight film and Susan Boyle back a spot. The celebrated music video has grown over 80 million views since our July update, enough to hop 5 spots and slip passed Twilight by just one million views.
- Timabaland: Apologize (featuring One Republic): This music video phenomenon takes an impressive 236 million views and 8th place.
- Britney Spears: Womanizer: After helping Brtiney make her comeback, Womanizer enters the club with 118 million views, taking the 29th spot.
- Peanut Butter Jelly Time: The dancing banana singing a catchy jingle about peanut butter and jelly has generated 103 million views and 33rd place. With a baseball bat, of course…
- Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: The more-than-meets-the-eye sequel to Transformers, Revenge of the Fallen joins the club with 102 million views and $397 million from the box office.
